Baroque and Beyond

St Mary's Church, Stapleford, Feb 13th 2010

On behalf of everyone here at St Mary's I would like to thank Matt and Jennifer and all your QC members for the wonderful performance that you gave last night.  To have had additional items by two such talented soloists was an additional bonus and much appreciated by us all.  Very few of us had heard of the viol or cornetto before and felt it such a privilege to have been introduced to these instruments by such delightful artists.

The programme enabled us to experience a whole range of emotions.  We were in turn soothed, delighted, intrigued, enthralled and uplifted.  So much so that people left in such high spirits that they generously contributed to a record retiring collection of £230.

In all we have been able to donate £802 to the Haiti Appeal.  We have never had such a profitable concert and it is all due to your choir and to Matt and Jennifer's generosity.
